Bridges Aligned Service is Bundaberg’s leading provider of community-based drug and alcohol treatment services and centre-based mental health rehabilitation and recovery. We also operate a psychology clinic and provide a range of mental health promotion services to increase awareness & understanding or mental illness and reduce stigma and discrimination.
We are a not-for-profit community-based organisation, governed in accordance with the requirements of the Office of Fair Trading. Our Board includes representatives from the health, drug and alcohol, consumer, business and community sectors.
Our organisational structure is designed to ensure that all programs have sufficient support, expertise and resources to deliver pre-determined outcomes within budget, satisfy reporting and evaluation requirements and operate within the parameters of our Policies and Procedures.
Our staff have qualifications and experience within either the Mental Health or Alcohol and Other Drugs sector and several have a lived experience of mental illness or substance misuse. The Board and management are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive environment for all staff that includes continued professional development, clinical supervision, clinical governance and performance review.
Bridges operates from two recently refurbished premises that provide dignified and inviting accommodation and surroundings.
